I love a cozy sweater. I also love maxi skirts. I love the subtle elegance of the maxi and the casual touch of the sweater. I wanted to keep this outfit simple. Oh yes, and when in doubt, go with nude pumps.
This outfit aside, I will be launching a new lookbook blog soon ! (Still in the works). It’ll still be Looks By MC, just a tab different. I’m super excited because this is something I’ve been planning for a while. Hence the belated post as well !
Winter is officially upon us! Christmas is officially almost here! I do wish there was a little bit of snow because it’s starting to look a lot like spring. Nonetheless, here’s a casual winter outfit. I decided to switch out my black coat with this white one. I’m featuring the cowl neck sweater again (also here). I went with jeans and brown booties.
I love this white turtleneck. I think it’s a piece that goes well with almost anything. It’s also thin enough to layer with. (And I do enjoy wearing white after labor day)
Here, I’m wearing with this colorful skirt I mentioned last spring. I love that the white is a base color for this look.
It’s winter, we all know. The weather is not warm. It’s a good thing I love sweaters. Here’s a cowl sweater outfit! I’ve been searching for a knit cowl sweater for forever, and I found this at the thrift store (score!). I’ve been opting for simple outfits because of the gloomy weather. I went with beige pants and brown combat boots.
The holiday season is upon us!! (Which also means a busy busy schedule). Nonetheless, here’s a simple black and white outfit; two colors that I’ve been wearing a lot. I went with this cow-like print blouse and a faux fur vest for extra detail and texture. I added these grey boots for more color variety.
I hope your Thanksgiving day was great! We should always be grateful and thankful (not just during thanksgiving). Nonetheless, this was an outfit I wore for thanksgiving. It reminds me a lot more of Christmas, but I think the gold with the black is appropriate for any event.
There is also snow!! While I’m not a fan of shoveling, driving in the snow, driving on ice, and having to clean off my car every morning, snow is still beautiful — especially the details on the snow flakes =)
I know it’s March, but IT’S SNOWING AGAIN! I knew this jacket would still come in handy. Nonetheless, the snow-in-march-when-I’m-ready-for-spring thought led me to this outfit. A simple beige knit sweater, straight relax jeans, and leather loafers. I love these loafers because they’re vintage and super comfy (though I actually think they’re menswear and not women’s–they’re still awesome). This is just a relax outfit with earthy hues in hope of spring =)
